The city council meeting Tuesday where the $1.4 billion deal will be voted on, will begin at 3 p.m., two hours earlier than usual.
"I think it's a really good deal, for our community, for the Jaguars, for the city, and I hope it does pass with flying colors," Mayor Donna Deegan said on Monday.
"We had a very aggressive schedule, a lot of meetings to make sure everyone had every question answered," said Jacksonville City Council President Ron Salem,"I'm very satisfied with the whole process and I'm sure I'll look back on this as a major accomplishment.""I think it's a really good deal, for our community, for the Jaguars, for the city, and I hope it does pass with flying colors," Deegan said.
