“The venue has done wonders for the Glasgow music scene. It has allowed artists to come to Glasgow which is obviously a big draw for the city and that's only a good thing in my opinion."The 31-year-old explained:"With the talent that the Hydro has pulled into Glasgow, it’s only done good, I think. "It’s so important for Glasgow to be able to draw in those kinds of crowds. Not just for the people of Glasgow, but, for the Glasgow economy.“I went to see Billie Eilish at the Hydro and she was phenomenal.Isobel Barrett, 60, from The Park District in the West End, said: “I have seen Rod Stewart and a couple of other bands as well as musicals in the Hydro.“Glasgow is getting more touristy than it ever was and people are now realising that Glasgow is a great place to be too I think.
