Payne delivered two huge baskets in the second half with one putting the Suns up a point late in third and the other coming late in the fourth to push them ahead, 101-100, with 3:10 left. He scored seven points.
Lee's game winner came after he surrendered a three-point play to Luka Doncic that tied the game with 32.8 seconds left.
