From banning certain colours to overshadowing The Queen, these are the strict rule the Royal Family must follow
When it comes to The Royal Family, we all know that they have a strict rule book to follow when on royal duties and attending special engagements.
This includes not baring their shoulders in public and showing any cleavage, as well as sticking strictly to the minimum skirt length of it being no shorter than three inches above the knee. Over recent years this rule has been rewritten by Kate as she is a fan of a trouser and which now Her Majesty has accepted as a new rule as fellow royals have followed in her footsteps. Not only has this caused spikes in some of the biggest fashion trends but it's also a way of the young royals bringing The Royal Family in the 21st century.
Whether it's a fun day out at the races, Remembrance Sunday services or of course a royal wedding, a lady must always sport a co-ordinating piece of headwear as this is an etiquette rule that dates back to the 1950's where it was seen as improper for upper-class ladies to show their hair in public. When it comes to the royally-approved court heels, these also have their own set of rules of not being above three and a half inches high, can't be of any platform styles and must also not be in neon colours.
