Gary and Lauren Forshaw, who met while working in a car, shared a passion for one day opening their own venue. The married couple have now opened their new adventure, Kas Social, in Ormskirk town centre.
"We've taken the best bits from all the different places we've been to and put them together in our own place. We saw things that people were doing right but also things that were missing. There were never enough gluten-free and allergen-free beers in these places. Gary, 52, says he is looking for people to visit the new bar to beer and socialise instead of coming with the sole intention of getting drunk. This is why him and Lauren, 34, have decided not not to serve spirits in a bid to discourage binge drinking.
