The new trains will be completely unmanned.
Scottish Partnership for Transport have shared a new look inside Glasgow Subway's new driverless trains.
Posting on their Youtube page, the short 20-second long SPT video is captioned: "Are you in the loop?" It gives viewers a glimpse of the interior of the subway cars, with snippets of the cars' fixtures and upholstery - featuring a grey, orange and black design.The video ends with the caption: "Due for arrival in 2023, are you in the loop?"
Plans are afoot for the Swiss-built driverless trains to run every three minutes compared to the current four minute system.
