Carolina’s starting right guard is inching closer to a return.
The Carolina Panthers' offensive line has really struggled throughout the first four weeks of the season, but help is on the way.
Wednesday morning, the Panthers announced that starting right guard Austin Corbett has been cleared to return to practice. Corbett suffered a torn ACL in the regular season finale in New Orleans last season and has spent the better part of the last year rehabbing. "It's just crazy how long it truly is," Corbett stated back in August."You always kind of think when you see ACLs, you're just like alright, it's going to be nine months. But once you start going through it every single day you don't realize just how long it really is and how much it honestly sucks. But we're doing great. It's been really solid."
The Panthers also announced that they have designated tight end Stephen Sullivan to return from injured reserve, opening a 21-day window to be activated.
