At long last, filming for Indiana Jones 5 has wrapped, a producer confirms with a new behind the scenes photo. The road to this point for Indiana Jones 5 has been long and winding. Talk of a fifth movie centered on Harrison Ford's iconic fedora-wearing adventurer began just before the previous film in the franchise, 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, was released. However, development from that point was slow.
Filming on Indiana Jones 5 finally got off the ground last year, with Ford back in the leading role. For this installment, he'll be joined by a cast of franchise newcomers, including Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, and Toby Jones. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is said to be playing the female lead, though most character details are still being kept under wraps.
James Mangold directs Indiana Jones 5, taking over from Steven Spielberg. Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but there have been signs that Ford will be de-aged for at least a portion of the movie.
