A Flood Watch has been issued for most of Arizona from late tonight through Wednesday evening. This Watch includes all of southeast AZ.
The potential exists for strong thunderstorms to develop that will produce heavy rain and localized flooding. Storm movement will be from south to north. We already have quite a bit of saturated ground that will make it easier for flooding to occur. Drier conditions will return by the end of the week.Showers and thunderstorms will increase today and tonight, especially across eastern Pima and Santa Cruz counties. This coverage will expand and become more widespread into Wednesday.
Storms will taper off Friday into Saturday and temps will remain near, or just below, normal through the end of the week.
