Pro-Am dancers spend up to six figures on their hobby.
The series is set in the world of Pro-Am dance competitions, which pair professional and amateur dancers.
Amateurs shell out a lot of money to cover wardrobe, hair, makeup and travel expenses for both dancers in each pair. “Everyone has a hobby, but ours costs six figures a year,” cast members say in the “Dancing Queens” trailer . “We pay hot men to dance with us and don’t think twice about sabotaging a friend to win.”Cast member Leonie Biggs lives in Haworth. Biggs works in finance and is a mother who competes in ballroom events. Her storyline on the show involves a new dance partner.
