The shooting was reported around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at a hotel near West 86th Street and Zionsville Road.

are calling a man's death on Monday a homicide. 500 block of S. Holt RoadOfficers began talking with members of the household. Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services pronounced the man dead at the scene. He has not yet been identified.

According to police, members of the household told investigators the man was sitting in a chair when they noticed him breathing irregularly. Anyone with information should contact Detective Sergeant Michael Duke at the IMPD Homicide Office at 317-327-3475 or email [email protected].
