Gov. Tom Wolf has his veto pen ready should a bill chipping away at abortion right in Pa. land on his desk
in this country, it will have no immediate impact on Pennsylvania.
The term-limited Democratic governor who leaves office in mid-January, said this highly controversial issue is not a matter of choice but is about “who’s going to make that choice.” The governor said he believes “it’s a right that applies all across the country and so it’s not something that any municipality or any state has the right to ignore.” He added a whole generation of Americans have grown up assuming this was settled law and it would be a surprise if it were overturned.
