Idaho murder victim's dad believes killer will be caught: 'This isn’t something that people get away with'
Ben Mogen, father of slain University of Idaho college student Madison Mogen, said he is confident that whoever is responsible for the stabbing death of his daughter and her friends, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin, will be caught and brought to justice. "She was a hard worker, always having a full time job on top of her studies even in high school," according to her obituary. "Kaylee loved the nicer things in life and took a lot of pride in buying those things for herself." Police have not identified a suspect or recovered the large fixed-blade knife they believe was used in the horrific attack that has left the small college town reeling from grief.
The coroner said the victims were likely ambushed as they slept and each was stabbed multiple times. Nearly six weeks have passed since four University of Idaho students were stabbed to death in their home near the school's campus in the early morning hours of Nov. 13, and police have yet to announce any suspects in the case.that was seen near the crime scene in the early morning hours of Nov. 13.
