Some of the handling of the Prime Minister's Nottinghamshire visit was genuinely troubling
The last time I interviewed Rishi Sunak was inside a trailer on the grounds of a Grantham tyre shop, a location which at the time felt like a fairly random place to interrogate the man then campaigning to be Prime Minister. But this week, a year on from Grantham and with the Liz Truss premiership having come and gone, I found myself questioning the current occupant of 10 Downing Street across a slightly sweaty changing room.

Given that this 10 minutes was being shared between four people, none of us were expecting a Laura Kuenssberg length of time with Mr Sunak. But there is often a degree of flexibility with the time slots given for such events, especially when reporters have waited for over an hour.
We were not naïve enough to expect that we would be able to get all these questions answered. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom is a person who of course cannot spend all their time in changing rooms with journalists. The most farcical moment came when the Prime Minister left us, after having joked that being interviewed in a changing room had given him a "football manager vibe". We were told that we could not leave the changing room for a few minutes, seemingly to allow the Prime Minister to completely clear the site.
