Autumn is with us and the coffee shops have started rolling out their seasonal drinks. Chief among these is the pumpkin spice latte, which has become a staple of beverage menus when temperatures start to dip and the nights draw in.
So WalesOnline's Bethany Gavaghan went on a mission to taste-test pumpkin spice lattes and rank them from best to worst.
Corner Coffee "In second place was Corner Coffee," Bethany said. "I think the only thing that held this one back was that it may have been a bit too flavoursome. However it still felt like a delightful autumnal treat. The rich espresso blended perfectly with the warm, comforting flavours of pumpkin and spice so it is a very close second. I'm a big fan of supporting independents as well so I'm sure I'll be back again in no time at all." Price: £4.
Starbucks "In fourth place was Starbucks, which was actually the most expensive drink," Bethany said. "The creamy texture and strong sense of sweetness made it a cosy and indulgent beverage that transported me to a crisp autumn day but it tasted a bit too sugary for me and it didn't have as much of a kick as the others." Price: £4.50.
