The oysters were every bit as delicious as they were visually breathtaking
Oysters aren't the best-selling item on many menus, never mind a quirky variant tempting aficionados.
Their 'cosmic oysters' are a boujee new arrival worth the order even if just for the social media post. They grabbed my attention online with their glistening shells and questionably coloured insides and tiny pearls sat neatly to one side. I thought, "These don't look like typical oysters" and that's because they're not - they're entirely liquid.
As a former mixologist and bar manager, I've never seen anything like this. It's a genuinely innovative take on a classic nibble that was every bit as exciting to discover as it was to be presented with. There's no catfishing here as the drinks hit the table every bit as beautiful as they appear online. Guests are expected to consume them the same way they would typical oysters which is in one fell swoop down your throat.
