The show will see 14 hopefuls compete for two West End roles
The 14 hopefuls will be expected to excel at singing, dancing and acting, and will also be tested on their chemistry.In the final, the public will decide who wins the roles.Desmonda, 27, from Indonesia, began to take an interest in musical theatre when she was around 16 and still in school. She went on to university and cofounded a musical theatre community called Jakarta Performing Arts Community and performed amateur productions.
Leah, 20, from Redcar, started out in a local dance school but had to leave because her family couldn’t afford the fees. But they then found an affordable Performing Arts which she attended every week for a few years and went on to college to study performing arts.Maddy, 20, from Bolton, has recently graduated from Urdang, which trains students from around the world in musical theatre and dance.Maisie, 22, from Margate, attended musical theatre classes as a young girl.
Craig, 26, from Perthshire, has been training since he was around six years old. He went to the Guildford School of Acting, graduating in 2018. He went to perform on a cruise ship for a year.Darcy, 23, from Hampshire, has been in amateur dramatics from a young age and studied musical theatres at the London College of Music for three years.Marcellus, 36, from High Wycombe, has performed in musicals, theatre and plays in many diverse roles.
Zachkiel, 21, from London, went to the BRIT School for four years and studied musical theatre there and went on to Emil Dale academy in Hertfordshire. He had just graduated before taking part inThe show started on Sunday 22 October on ITV and ITVX but you can catch up on ITVX. It will next be broadcast on ITV and ITVX on Sunday 29 October from 6.15pm-7.30pm
