Surprise! A teen mom revealed the shocking way she discovered she was pregnant: by going into labor.
While viewers laughed at the woman’s father for rushing to grab pregnancy tests when she was already in labor — “Little late for the test, dad,” wrote one jokester — others claimed she was lying.“Yes. I don’t believe it,” one skeptic commented.“Dads just like ‘nah this is not proof enough,'” quipped another.“I laughed out loud at the last bit – dad, save your money,” wrote someone else.“I am not liking how common cryptic pregnancies seem to be,” someone else said.
Cryptic pregnancies, when the woman doesn’t know she’s pregnant until at least halfway through her pregnancy,. Yet, only 1 in 2500 won’t realize they’re pregnant until they go into labor. It wasn’t until she experienced back pain and a sudden urge to push that she realized she might be pregnant.Lack of symptoms, irregular periods, birth control, spotting, age, fertility and not feeling a “bump” or movement are amongst the most common causes for cryptic pregnancies. Not only could the mother be consuming alcohol and tobacco and harming the fetus, but she also won’t receive necessary prenatal care.
