Trancecoda brings Ferry Corsten’s What The F tour to Hangar 34
Over the past three decades, operating under aliases such as System F, Moonman and Gouryella, as well as his own name, the 50-year-old from Rotterdam has helped shape both the sound and the scene. Twice-named Best Trance DJ at the DJ Awards, his talent has even been recognised by the Dutch King.
However since February it’s been full on again with an Australia/New Zealand tour and A State Of Trance, so I’d say this will be a busy year for sure. The genre evolved and so more subgenres were created. I think it’s great to see that the old-school trance is making big waves at the moment and becoming popular with the younger crowd.
This can be old tracks or remixes of mine from 20 years ago, but also brand-new, unreleased songs from the upcoming album. It’s where the classic me, meets my future self.You have played in the city a few times over the years with Cream and Creamfields. You must have had some fun nights here... You were knighted a couple of years ago by the Dutch King for your contributions to music. What was it like to get that news?
