UPDATE: The husband has died and the case will be referred to a grand jury, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
– A husband died at a hospital after he suffered a gunshot wound during a ‘struggle over a gun’ with his wife inside their north Harris County home Friday morning, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the husband was involved in an argument with his wife when at some point the gun discharged.Sheriff Gonzalez said there were four children inside the home at the time of the shooting, with the oldest being 16 years old. None of them were hurt.
Gonzalez said the case will likely be referred to a grand jury and the investigation remains ongoing.units responded to an incident at the 25700 blk of White Springs. Preliminary info: argument btwn husband/wife. There may have been a struggle over a gun and the gun discharged, striking the adult male. The male was transported to the hospital. Investigators enroute.
