'Proper Scousers welcome people'
People have said 'this is how it should be' after a touching gesture from an Evertonian to a Liverpool Fan.
During his visit to the Old Post Office Pub in the city centre Brandon met Everton supporter Peter Cullen and his family, who invited him to pull up a chair and have a drink with them. Brandon instantly hit it off with Peter's family and the group spent the rest of the day together, having a meal in China Town and visiting other bars in the area.Peter, 57, originally from Dovecot, told the ECHO: "I think in Liverpool it's a normal thing for most people to do.
The group then headed to China Town for something to eat, and met up with Peter's brother Michael Cullen, otherwise known as Speedo Mick, who joined them for a meal. "I'm travelling solo. I was nervous at first but I found every night it was the same thing, someone welcoming me to their table."
