I'm a 21-year old student living in Scotland. I have no student debt, and my $900 monthly budget pays for my fitness club, nights out, and frequent travel.

Higher quality stores, like Whole Foods or Ralphs, definitely charge a premium. Whereas in Germany it's pretty standard no matter where you shop.
