Houston should expect no respite from the brisk, chilly weather this weekend with scattered rain, wind and cold temperatures expected.
Parts of the region could see sleet Saturday as chilly weather continues this weekend.
Sleet mixing into developing rain showers at locations along and south of Interstate 10 has also been reported Saturday morning and remains possible until about 11 a.m.National Weather Service forecasters expect a 30 percent chance of rain and lows around 44. The high will reach 55. The wind is forecasted to blow at 10 to 15 mph northeast with gusts as high as 20 mph.
