It was two METRO police officers involved in the fight and shooting, but because it happened within City limits the case falls under HPD’s jurisdiction for investigation, Deese said. Deese said the interaction got intense fast, saying the person made death threats to the officers, and then a physical fight broke out between the two police and the person they stopped.
