Customers are being urged to check their meters ahead of a major bill price change
Martin Lewis has issued an urgent reminder for billpayers across the country ahead of a major energy bill change.
Now, Mr Lewis is urging people to take a meter reading ahead of the major change which should see bills drop by an average of 7 per cent. People on direct debit are being advised to take a meter reading before October 1 to avoid being charged more than they should do otherwise. This is because energy firms estimate a direct debit customer's energy usage across a certain period.
