Man United have endured a difficult start to the new season and here are the winners and losers of the campaign so far.
To say things haven't gone to plan for Manchester United so far this season would be quite an understatement.
Further off-field issues have also caused turmoil within the team and United go into the second international break of the campaign down in 10th with the only negative goal difference in the top half of the table. Hardly anyone has come out of the opening stretch of the season with credit but here are the biggest winners and losers so far:
Peace talks were unsuccessful and Sancho has now been frozen out of all first-team activity until he apologises. With that seeming unlikely, it doesn't look like he will play for the club again. Casemiro - United's midfield lynchpin silenced the doubters about his signing a year ago as he helped transform the side's fortunes but those voices of concern are beginning to prove correct. Many wondered last year if it was wise to spend £60m on a player reaching his 30s, especially when Real Madrid are so willing to let him go - something they usually only do when they know a player's decline is around the corner.
But Onana has been a disappointment so far with his slack distribution, especially as silly, costly mistakes are creeping into his game when it comes to the basics of shot-stopping as well. A big improvement is needed.
