His terrified victim frantically tried to flag down drivers for help - nobody stopped
A man chased a stranger walking home from work before dragging him into a doorway and forcing him to perform a sex act. Rida Awof, 30, set upon the man, who was in his 20s, in the early hours of January 31 last year.

Forensic analysis of the man's clothing matched a partial DNA sample from a previous arrest, leading officers to identify Awof as a suspect. Detective Constable Annabel Lewis of GMP's City of Manchester district said: "I want to acknowledge the victim of this horrific incident. I know the past 16 months have been extremely difficult for him.
