A BUS driver who saved the life of a passenger who had a heart attack onboard and a young woman who performed CPR on a small baby have been honoured for their bravery.
Billy, who has been behind the wheel at First Bus for more than a decade, began lifesaving CPR for more than 20 minutes as he waited for paramedics to arrive.Last week, Billy, from East Kilbride, was awarded the First Aid Hero prize at the Scottish First Aid Awards which was hosted by beloved Still Game star Sanjeev Kohli."It was a challenging situation but when you have been first aid trained, it gives you the confidence to step in and do what you need to do.
