They’ll be deadly together, but Paul having already played off the ball this season will serve this unit well.The Suns will have pin downs and curl action for Booker and Durant, but Booker’s work off the ball could lead to back door cuts and flares for 3s for him off screens.Then there’s Ayton. Playing him and Durant on the same side with Booker and Paul opposite could put the defense in a serious bind.
Ayton has received criticism for kicking the ball out for 3s after grabbing offensive boards, but if Durant is on the receiving end of those kickouts for dagger 3s, he’ll be forgiven.
