Dr. Mark Meadows, of Commerce, Georgia, died on May 8, shortly after his 1978 Cessna crashed over Polk County and shattered into several pieces.

A heartless thief allegedly took the wing from the wreckage of a deadly plane crash in Tennessee and drove off with it in the back of his pickup truck.had been stolen from the side of the road after Dr. Lionel Meadows, of Commerce, Georgia, crashed his 45-year-old aircraft over Polk County on May 8.“This piece is very important to putting together the puzzle of what happened.

“If you have any information on the whereabouts of the wing or who may have took it please notify the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.”
