Prince Harry, writing in Spare, described how his face was once shoved into the fresh carcass of a dead stag in a hunting ritual
Prince Harry has described how his face was once shoved into the fresh carcass of a dead stag in a hunting ritual.
The Duke described how at last they came across a stag and he shot it with a rifle before Sandy bled it from the neck and slit open its belly with a knife. The guide then told Harry to kneel next to the animal. "After a minute I couldn’t smell anything, because I couldn’t breathe. My nose and mouth were full of blood, guts and a deep, upsetting warmth.”
Harry’s memoir was officially released on Tuesday - with fans queuing to buy a hardback copy the second it hit shelves at midnight.
