Wearing classic glamour, Harrison chose a smart black tux, while Calista opted for a gorgeous black gown with a tulle skirt, showing off her new brunette locks.
The couple were announced as “Indiana Jones and Calista Flockhart”, whilst cheers of thousands of fans and onlookers praised the Oscar-winning actor.Harrison was awarded with a surprise award on the night, an honorary Palme d'Or for his legendary career and contributions to film. Presented to him ahead of the screening, Harrison was fêted for his career with a reel of highlights.
“I’m very moved by this,” Ford said. “They say when you’re about to die, you see your life flash before your eyes, and I just saw my life flash before my eyes. A great part of my life, but not all of my life. My life has been enabled by my lovely wife, who has supported my passion and my dreams, and I’m grateful.”
