The Office of the Superintendent in the Harrisburg School District confirmed that on Monday morning, two elementary schools were evacuated due to bombs threats.
In a letter to district parents, guardians, and staff, the Superintendent went on to say that Ben Franklin Elementary and Scott Elementary Schools receives anonymous phone calls issuing a bomb threat.The release to parents and guardians assures them that the district is working closely with both their own security and the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, and they believe the bomb threat is a hoax.
