Prosecutors said Christian Bonnett attacked the nurses while he was a patient at Hershey Medical Center in 2018.
A Dauphin County judge sentenced a Harrisburg man to a minimum of 13 and a half years in state prison for assaulting three nurses and attempting to rape one of them in 2018, prosecutors said Tuesday.. The sentence allows for up to 35 years in prison.according to officials.
“The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. This defendant has a history of homicidal ideation and has admitted to killing animals. He has shown how violent he can be with this attack. He has expressed no empathy for these victims, has shown a total lack of remorse, and has denied any responsibility for his actions,” Gettle said, according to the DA’s office.
