Police are investigating the incident in the Cregagh Road area on Friday, May 19
Handbags and cash were stolen from the home of a woman in her 80s while she was in her front garden in East Belfast.
It has been reported that two men entered the woman's home while she was in her front garden and are understood to have removed a number of handbags containing cash and bank cards.The suspects have been described as being in their late teens/early 20s and are approximately 5'7" in height and were wearing dark coloured clothing. One of the suspects was wearing dark framed glasses.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detectives are investigating a burglary at the home of a lady in her 80’s on Cregagh Road in East Belfast on Friday 19 May.
