Halyna Hutchins' widower lashes out at sheriff for releasing footage of her final moments after she was shot dead on Rust set
Halyna Hutchins' husband has slammed the Santa Fe Sheriff's Office for releasing footage of his dying wife on the Rust set after Alec Baldwin shot her. Matthew was supposed to be able to review the footage of the October 2021 death prior to release and be able to request redactions.
Authorities said they released the footage and records due to the high volume of records requests they received. Matthew also slammed the footage release because they fear it could be used against his son, nine, and further traumatize him. The footage shows the cinematographer being attended to by emergency services before being airlifted to the hospital
