The Haltom City library has a 'bone-afide' mystery on its hands.
HALTOM CITY, Texas — The Haltom City Library is missing its beloved skeleton, Boney Stark.at the library and was wearing a Tinkerbell costume at the time of her disappearance. Now, the Haltom City Police Department is involved, and they don’t find the situation “humerus.”
The police department posted surveillance photo of a woman in an orange shirt and denim short overalls carrying Boney out of the library. “We’d love to chat with the woman in orange and ask if she knows anything about a skeleton being removed from the library. Maybe more importantly we’d like to know ‘why’ someone might decide to take it??,” the police said in the Facebook post.
The library said Boney was a Halloween decoration and was a donation from the Friends of the Haltom City Public Library. Boney was so loved by library visitors, they became a mainstay to greet our patrons in seasonal costumes.LATEST NEWS
