Paralympian Richard Whitehead MBE will be officially starting the race and will also be taking part himself in the half marathon.
The Lowdham-born athlete will be running to support Nottingham based charity Footprints, who are one of the charity partners for the Robin Hood Marathon and help children with mobility and communication difficulties.The Robin Hood Half Marathon is taking place today, Sunday, 25th September.❌ 30 and 34 suspended until early afternoon
