On Thursday, December 8, the director Guillermo Del Toro’s closest friends, family, and creative collaborators gathered at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City for the institution’s annual Modern Art Film Benefit, sponsored by Chanel.
“I have the greatest admiration for her; we had one of the most stimulating and gratifying conversations,” he added. “We have many, many common interests. And her interest in fable and myth and the origins of fairy tale is quite deep.
