In 41 games for the Clippers, the left-handed hitting Naylor is batting .257 with eight doubles, one triple, nine homers and 32 RBI. He’s posted an .898 OPS. MLB rules allow teams to add a 27th player for doubleheaders as long as he’s on the 40-man roster. That player accrues one day of MLB service time and is returned to the minor leagues following the completion of the doubleheader.Naylor made his big-league debut late last season. He appeared in five games for Cleveland.
