There’s chatter of one of Rockstar’s main writers leaving the studio, but neither he nor the studio has formally announced it.
Unsworth doesn’t include GTA 6 in his list of writing credits but, given his role at the studio, it’s hard to imagine that he had no input on the game’s story.
Plus, if the game is potentially launching next year, the story is likely finalised, so it’s not as if Unsworth is leaving midway through writing it. We have contacted Rockstar for clarification about Unsworth’s status within the studio and will be sure to update this article if they respond.
