All party leaders at the Scottish Parliament made short speeches on the passing of the late monarch except for the Greens.
The Greens snubbed the chance to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth in the Scottish Parliament today one year on from her death aged 96.
The Queen died on September 8 but Holyrood does not sit on Fridays so tributes were brought forward by a day. The party is in favour of an elected head of state replacing the monarch if Scotland voted for independence in the future.Speaking before FMQs today, Humza Yousaf said: "One year since the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth does present a moment for reflection on a long and dedicated life of public service.
