Dijon Stanley made his mark in track and field, but now he wants to do it on the football field in honor of his fallen cousin.

“Brett Washington, Khalid Ali, Jamal Farmer, Jeremy Leach, Jason Wynn, Bryan Martin …,” Harp started listing off the top of his head. “I came after John Elway.” “He’s seen a lot of athletes come through this school,” Stanley said about Harp’s praise. “For him to say that about me gives me chills. I really appreciate that.”“We want to win a City championship. If it’s in Division I, so be it,” Stanley said. “But we believe we can be an Open Division contender if we fix some things.”
He’s got help from his younger cousin, sophomore running back Darrell Stanley, who’s scored nine touchdowns in three games
