Gov. Josh Shapiro lobbies political friends, even the ones who root for the Steelers, to support the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
Gov. Josh Shapiro isn’t taking any chances with the Philadelphia Eagles not having the state’s full support so he’s rallying his political friends, even the ones from Pittsburgh.
In a Twitter video posted Sunday morning, Shapiro “calls” state Sen. Vincent Hughes and his wife, entertainer Sheryl Lee Ralph; House Democratic Leader Joanna McClinton; Senate President Pro Tempore Kim Ward, U.S. Rep. Madeleine Dean and Lt. Gov. Austin Davis to make sure they’ll be watching the Super Bowl and, more importantly, cheering on the Eagles.
