The race's organiser has shared an important tip for runners
"One tip for everybody would be to get your bag together the night before and plan your journey as meticulously as you do your training runs. Start your day well, don't be rushing, arrive at the village in good time so you can take in the atmosphere. Make sure you give yourself the best possible start and then let us do the rest and enjoy.

Charity partners of the Robin Hood Half Marathon will be in the Race Village on event day. There will be a number of catering units as well as toilets, and a massage team will be available to help runners.With thousands of runners set to descend on Nottingham for the Robin Hood Half Marathon, we’ve put together some tips for warming up and staying motivated on the day.
To avoid hitting “the wall”, try taking some walking breaks during the marathon. A 60-second break at every mile marker can make a big difference. Consuming some calories is also essential as you progress through the gruelling thirteen miles.
