Goldman Sachs' Stephanie Cohen is taking a leave of absence — her second since 2022

Philip Berlinski and Ericka Leslie were tapped to lead the bank's consumer lending business.Stephanie Cohen, a leader of Goldman Sachs' retail banking expansion, is stepping away from the bank for an undisclosed period, employees were told on Friday.overseeing Goldman's credit card partnerships with Apple and General Motors, and the transaction banking business, told her team in a memo that she will be taking a break from her job to focus on her family.

"This break will allow me to be the best I can be for Goldman Sachs upon my return, which is something I have taken pride in my entire career," Cohen said in the memo to the Platform Solutions division, which also houses consumer lender GreenSky. "Thank you all for your support as I take some time to be with my husband and children," she wrote."I will be rooting for you from the sidelines and look forward to coming back fulltime soon."
