The hub will feature changing rooms for footballers, a safe space for youths and a place for elderly people to go and sit inside.
Hillwood Community Trust was founded in 1999 to bring the Hillwood Football Club further into the community, and to diversify activities in the area.
William Smith, chairman of Hillwood Community Trust and Hillwood Football Club, said:"We want to set up this hub for any age group, any gender, or any religion. With funding fairly secured, the trust is hoping to gain more sponsorships to help with the hub's costs and 'pave the way' for the building.
