Glasgow's Pavilion Theatre 'up for sale for £3.9m' as new ownership of iconic institution wanted
Glasgow's famous Pavilion Theatre is set for the final curtain under its current ownership after 'For Sale' notices appeared.
However, it is believed that all tickets sold for upcoming events at the 1,400 capacity theatre will be honoured. "The shows will continue under my management team until at least the end of January 2023, so please keep booking shows and for the panto as I personally would love to go out on a high and will ensure a fun filled family panto that you won't get anywhere else in Glasgow.
"The staff are so friendly and helpful. Some of the staff have even been in the shows themselves! If it's closed as a theatre it will certainly be a huge loss for me and Glasgow."
