Glasgow residents left out their homes overnight after 'hazardous material' found in flat
Around 80 people have been forced to spend the night out of their homes after bomb disposal experts were called to investigate "hazardous material" found in a Glasgow flat.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal is at the scene as police try to determine the nature of the materials. "I would like to thank those affected for their co-operation and advise that everything is being done to allow those evacuated back into their homes as soon as it is safe to do so. A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council said: "We have been assisting the emergency services following the evacuation of residents from a number of flats in the Shettleston area.
