A food champion for Glasgow is among the new roles created by the city's Labour group as part of a reshuffle.
The reorganisation sees a number of new faces entering the cabinet following the initial appointments last year after Labour made gains in the council election. Councillor Redmond said: "We were always going to do a refresh. It is about making sure the 16 new councillors get the opportunity to settle in.Commenting on the creation of new spokesperson roles, councillor Redmond said: "The food champion is really critical. People have been talking about heating or eating in the last year. There are more foodbanks in Glasgow than McDonald's.
